Description
We already switch to scientific notation for the scale on the colourbar for larger absolute values of the exponent, but this should be done already for smaller values.

Almost done. At least it is improved.
Note that a proper solution will have to wait for matplotlib 2 (log scale colorbars are just not right, right now.
